This is a yin class, meaning we hold postures passively for 3-5 min. Yin yoga targets the connective tissues and meridian lines in the body. This lovingkindness practice includes shapes & meditations for softening around the heart, both physically & energetically, with gentle backbending and shoulder-opening postures and a metta meditation to close. You may like to have props available to you (blocks, blankets, pillows etc) but they are not required.
