healthy hips & winter withdrawal

yin for the hips!

This class is designed to target the hip joints by moving the femurs in the hip sockets in all the ways they were meant to express themselves: flexion, extension, abduction, adduction, external rotation & internal rotation.

We also explore the concept of seeking shelter & inner retreat during the cold, dark seasons of our lives.

Shapes are held 2-4 min. It's nice to have some props nearby for this practice: blanket, pillows, blocks, thick books... whatever you've got on hand.
